National Twilight Zone Day

Awww.. so sorry. No erotica today, but instead here’s celebrating one of my favorite tv shows, The Twilight Zone.  While it is a little olde timey by “the kids” standards, the show was really ahead of its time.

The show had twists and turns and addresses serious subjects and social issues that were not part of mainstream media in the 50s and 60s. It wasn’t just sci-fi and spooky… It hit racism and McCarthyism and lots of other moral issues head-on, without apology. It bends your mind and makes you think critically, as opposed to the common fun family dramas like “I Love Lucy” and “Leave it to Beaver.

I am all in favor of watching something the majority of the time which makes me think and has me questioning things long after the show is over. The Twilight forced you out of your comfort zone and made you confront what is right in your face.

I had several episodes which were favs of mine, but this is one which I liked; due to the noir-like element of it.   So get out there, hit up Youtube and watch an episode or two. There is always one or two playing on the SyFy channel. Enjoy
