Travel Tuesday: Namwon-si

I had the best time ever when I was teaching in Namwon. I never thought that I would enjoy small, rural town living, but I did. I loved the pace of the place, the people, the lack of English and being forced to speak Korean( yeah, I can barely speak English) or write it in Korean. For some reason, my Hangul skills were better than my speaking skills. Its people like the ones below who made my time in Namwon-si a great one. If you get a chance, check out that whole area. I would suggest waiting until early winter or spring.  Winters can be done, and the snow on the ground and on the mountains are lovely, but the summers in Namwon are hell!
