Noir Saturday: Lured

Today’s pic is from 1947, Lured. After a serial killer in London murders young women whom he meets through the personal column in the newspaper, the police enlist a young dancer, Sandra Carpenter (Lucille Ball), to lure the killer by answering personal ads.

I don’t know about you, but Lucy will always be a comedian to me, but as usual, I forgot she was an actress first.  This movie also has George Sanders, Charles Coburn, and my fav, Boris Karloff. It’s showing on TCM tonight @ 11 PM CST and again on Sunday morning @ 9AM CST.  Oh here’s the trailer for the movie. Enjoy and have a good one.
