It’s been a month, already?
Although it has been a month, I am still in the “I can’t believe I’m in South Korea” phase. Lol.
Since my arrival last month, I learned the Korean alphabet (Hangul), which makes it much easier for me to read city names and menus. I sure as hell don’t understand everything that I read, but it still comforting to know the basics. I also opened up my very own bank account here in Korea Land. While for some people back in Texas, the response, would be “ Duh, how difficult could it be”? Well, there are some steps to opening one in Korea. Then to top it off, my account got all screwed up because someone misspelled my name on my bank card and online, so I had to go to several branches to find someone who spoke English well enough to fix the problem. I also have my Alien Registration Card now, so I’m officially settled in South Korea! WOW! I am legal people.
