Travel Tuesday: Temple of Hatshepsut

This here temple is dedicated to one of, in my personal opinion, on the OG’s of Bad Bitches, Hatshepsut.  She took the role of a man quite literally; she had the balls to wear the full staff, crown, and bread! However, like many a strong woman, weaker people (insecure men) tried to erase her from history, but the lady is still there. The proof is here.

The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru, is a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt located in Upper Egypt. Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut, it is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings.
