Haunted House in French Quarter New Orleans LA

Here’s a haunt which is sure to get the heart pumping. Check it out.

The Gardette-LaPretre Mansion is one of the most haunted and unusual ranks among the most haunted houses in New Orleans. The mansion has been called the Sultan’s Place.
According to the locals, the story dates back to the 1800s when a strange man with links to the Sultan of Turkey came to New Orleans and the Quarter and rented out the mansion.
The man brought with him servants and his own harem and lived the Life of Riley. Expensive and extravagant parties were a common occurrence at the mansion. One party ended on an incredibly tragic note. Everyone at the party had been murdered, including the host himself. He was later found buried in the backyard.
No one really knows what happened and to this day it is said that screams are still heard.
