Noir Saturday: The Sign of the Ram

THE SIGN OF THE RAM, Susan Peters, 1948

Here’s tonight’s noir, The Sign of the Ram. The personality of Leah St. Aubyn (Susan Peters), a wealthy English poet who uses a wheelchair, has become increasingly volatile and domineering. Despite her marriage to Mallory (Alexander Knox), Leah begins flirting with her physical therapist, Dr. Simon Crowdy (Ron Randell). However, when Dr. Crowdy reveals that he plans to propose to her much younger stepdaughter, Jane (Allene Roberts), Leah begins a violent downward spiral that can only end in tragedy.

Check it out tonight @ 11PM CST on TCM or tomorrow morning @ 9AM CST on TCM.
